-It’s going to be a good year, folks…lots of things in the works.
The band has been invited back to Europe in April and November. April will take the band through Germany to play the first Honky-Tonk Harbor in Hamburg, sharing the bill with Europe’s own The Country Side of Harmonica Sam. In November the band will be heading to France, Germany, Austria and Italy to play a few Hillbilly Festivals and some great club shows. Upon its return after April the band is set for a tour through the Southeast and then a recording session in Georgia. Then it’s back to the west coast to the historic central valley to stir up some dust and play some hot country music. Looking forward to seeing everyone on the road and having some new music for everyone to enjoy.

It’s been a fun year, folks. The whole band toured Europe in March, the West Coast in May and June, and the old stomping grounds in the Midwest and Southeast in September. Got settled back in New Orleans in October. The band cut four songs in December to be released on a 45 coming up in the Spring.
So far 2018 is looking good. We got invited back to Europe in April for the first Honky-Tonk Harbour event in Hamburg. Then we will tour Europe again for the next month. Next it’s back to the West Coast for a great run up the historic central valley.

2017 is starting out right folks. This March the group is heading back to Europe for a month long tour. Excited to be playing in some old stomping grounds and exploring some new ones. The Pigpen will also be going back to the studio in Germany to cut a few new sides for Blind Lemon Records. Keep a look out for the group if you are in Europe and don’t be afraid to come and dance. You can find all the details on the tour date tab, see you soon.
This year has been one for the books. I had a blast during my spring and fall European tours, and I released my first international album with the German-based Blind Lemon Records. The band and I once again had too much fun touring the states through our stomping grounds in the Southeast, Midwest and on the West Coast. We’re looking forward to recording new material in the next few months and gearing up for the 2017 touring year. It starts in March with the fellas and I headed back to Europe to perform in France, Germany, Austria and Italy. Then we go straight out to the West Coast to tour from San Diego to the West Coast for the month of May. Thank you to everyone that has enjoyed the music and helped move this train down the track.
